Power Pole Installations is a family owned and operated business which commenced in the early 80's. Sid and Margaret Why started the business suppling and installing untreated power poles within the South East Queensland corner. Over time, CCA treated poles became more cost effective as a private property pole.

Over the years, all members of the family have worked within the business, from power pole installation, aerial line construction, lighting poles, CCTV poles and earthworks. When the time came for Sid to hang  up this boots, son Dave and his wife Elsa took over the hot seat, as both Dave and Elsa had worked within the business for years. The family have travelled and worked all over South East Queensland installing power poles with Energex, Ergon and Telstra.
